This policy explains what Tavia collects and why. We collect the minimum needed to run the community and personalize safety information to your region.

What we collect

Account basics: display name, username, avatar, bio, country, languages
Dietary labels and interests you choose to add to your profile
Optional health context you choose to share at sign-up — celiac diagnosis and year, non-celiac gluten sensitivity, wheat allergy, family history. These fields are optional, self-reported, and shown only to you on your own profile.
Content you post: recipes, photos, comments, safety-experience logs, place additions

How we use it

Your country and dietary labels personalize the recipes, ingredient safety scores, and Pantry data you see. Your health fields are never shown to other members and are not used to personalize anything outside your own profile page.

What we don't do

We don't sell your data to third parties, and we don't use your health fields for advertising.

Your control

You can edit or remove your dietary and health information at any time from your profile, and you can delete content you've posted. If another member's content concerns you, you can report it or block them — see our Community Guidelines.
